Outline of the Japan Cardio-Vascular Alliance
Concept of the Japan Cardio-Vascular Alliance
To tackle the rapid increase in cardiovascular disease caused by the super-aging society and the growing need for cardiologists due to the emergence of new fields, cardiology societies need to unite in order to develop research, strengthen the medical system, and contribute to people’s health.
Therefore, the Japan Cardio-Vascular Alliance was established on April 1, 2020.
Cardiology societies will build a system for solving the critical problems of Japan’s medical care through close collaboration and will promote the development of cardiology.
Aims
・The Japan Cardio-Vascular Alliance(JCVA) will serve as a platform for collaboration among related societies.
・The JCVA will strive to: develop cardiology, clarify the roles of each society, and forge relationships among societies.
・The societies of the JCVA will collaborate on the integrated development of cardiology and enhancement of training for young doctors.
