What is JCS?
As of June 2021, the JCS has 26,970 regular members, 4,570 associate members, and 15,098 cardiovascular specialists.
In view of the importance of cardiovascular diseases, the JCS is recognized as one of the major medical societies in Japan.
The JCS plays various roles in society, engaging in the research and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, improvement of the medical system, dissemination of guidelines, and human resource development across multiple professions.
